"What's that, God? 3d6 in order? You are the Hand that guides my pen...!"

Hey GREAT!!!  A new clone is here, a new clone is here!  This one really adds some tasty new spice to the stew – clever, original, never-before-seen features include:

  • New title
  • It says “Original Edition Roleplaying Game” at the bottom
  • Cobblestone floor and brick wall removed from cover illustration
  • New title!

Hahaha, see what he did?  It abbreviates to a “D” and a “D”!  “D&D”!!!!!

Can’t wait to read the forthcoming development blog, that should be intriguing… “Dear DelDeep fans & true believers, today – after much prayer to God and Baby Jesus – I made a breakthrough in the section on abilities.  You’ve witnessed first hand my struggles – what do I do AFTER I left-click, drag n’ highlight text?  Hahaha, it’s the SCISSORS icon at the top of the page – it CUTS the text right out!  And then there’s this little clipboard-thingy that drops it right in where you want it, on a brand-new page that I CREATED, snug as a bug!  Next up: fonts!  Aniron headers, here I come!!!”

Boy, if I only had that much hair!

Don’t we all prefer the Baby Jesus?

Just one more reason I switched to BFRPG. At the very least Chris is up front letting everyone know he is not writing an original game and more importnantly doesnt charge exhorbitant prices for rehashed; warmed over rules…(just compare BFRPG to any of the other “retro-clones”… though for the number of pages OSRIC looks like a sweet deal too)

Just another example splitting the OSR fan base more and more chasing the almighty dollar…

“I play S&W WB.. want to get a game going ?
Sorry dude we run only Delving Deeper…
    No I play S&S Core…
    No … wait… we are running S&W Complete now….

where will it all end ?

Wait ’til you see MY retro-clone, which uses the original game’s classes, Blackmoor’s hit location tables, Eldritch Wizardry’s initiative system, psionics, the Greyhawk weapon adjustment table, only the monsters from Chainmail, and incorporates the incoherent rants of Robert J Kuntz and Tim Kask!

Oh, and hit points ascend as you take damage.

Yeah, well my retro-clone is going to have the Thoul as a playable race!

Well in MY clone the monsters will BE Rob Kuntz rants! How’s that for old-school?

But guys, this one is going to be a “pure” clone, not like S&W! But I don’t know how that will be accomplished since the original game has passages and rules that are STILL being debated as to exactly what they mean..

First it was James Faggi, then the AIDS puppet from Huge Runny Piles, then Matt Finch, now John Adams?

Too many cool kids in the clubhouse.

You tagged this post as ‘Gay Shit for Morons’.

There is, literally, some ‘Gay Shit for Morons’ over at Zak’s Tedious Pimp blog right now so you need to upgrade your shock tags with extreme urgency.

Try ‘Intelligent Life found on Blog’ as a tag.

That’s not fawning. That’s patiently trying to communicate with a damaged and partially-functional human being. If you were a psychiatrist you’d recognize the dynamic. Not sure why Zak bothers, but that’s his choice of time to waste.

I like the way responders on this blog have changed from outraged geek defenders of OSR integrity to fawning DungeonSuck ass kissers. The Dungeon Sucker begins his corruption of the OSR faithful(ess)!!

I think it’s called Stockholm Syndrome.

Are they really the same people, though?

Geek defenders of OSR integrity? What OSR integrity? A bunch of never-will-bes and has-beens incompetently aping material that wasn’t all that great in the first place? Please, I come for the ruthless baiting of self-important douchebags who think their latest musings on 35 year old games are insightful enough to blog about. Similar to what Jello Biafra once said in a different context (punk), “The OSR’s not dead. It just deserves to die.”
