LotFP Has Some Swampland in Nyrond for You

October 6, 2010

I don’t know, I guess I gotta give credit where credit is due.  The boldness of Raggi’s racketeering has snowballed to the point where he’s willing to put forth a business proposition that fails to conquer logic skills that should have been acquired in the 2nd grade.

Essentially he’s saying, “Hey I’m going to reduce the price of my next project by charging you more money right now for a stack of absolute worthless fluff.  Hopefully, by the time you buy the next project, you will have forgotten that it actually cost you an extra 20 euros and you will think that I sacrificed and saved you money!”  I mean, it really does take some stones to have that little regard for the critical thinking skills of your customers & fanbase.

  1. Goal: Appear to have customers’ best interests in mind by removing cost of art from pricing of forthcoming product.
  2. Scheme: Charge money for branded toilet paper right now, so at time of purchase it appears final product costs less.
  3. End Result: Double profits!  MO’ MONEY – MO’ MONEY – MO’ MONEY!!!

But if you really want that print, more power to you.  I suppose you put it up on the wall next to your Tiger Beat cover with Justin Bieber?  Hahaha, Jim even says he’s selling all of them he makes, he’s not even keeping one, like he’s making some sort of personal sacrifice because he cares about every one of his precious little snowflake fans… HE’S NOT KEEPING A DUMB CARD & CERTIFICATE BECAUSE THEY ARE FUCKING WORTHLESS!!!

Wow man… just, wow.

I would have actually been disappointed if you weren’t all over this one.

As always, thanks for the plug.

The most elegant part of your scheme is how it rewards the cynics – sit on the sidelines for the bullshit, but then swoop in and reap the price break that’s been funded by the nitwits. Assuming the wits of your diehard fans are nitty enough to fall for this…
